1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 9:2800.25, relative to limitations for certain medical claims; to provide for
3 limitations on recovery of medical or healthcare expenses incurred as the result of
4 an offense or quasi offense; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 9:2800.25 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง2800.25. Limitation on recovery of medical or healthcare expenses
8 In any claim filed pursuant to Chapter 3 of Title V of Book III of the
9 Louisiana Civil Code, in addition to any other limitation under law, recovery
10 of medical or healthcare expenses incurred shall be limited to the amount
11 actually paid or incurred by or on behalf of the claimant.
