SENATE CONCURRENT RESOL UTION NO. 32

LOCAL AGENCIES. Suspends legal requirements to ensure the continued operation of
local government.
1 A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
2 To suspend until sixty days after final adjournment of the 2021 Regular Session of the
3 Legislature of Louisiana all deadlines and quorum requirements of local public
4 bodies of state law to ensure the continued operation of local government.
5 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana hereby suspends
6 the provisions of state law which establish deadlines relative to and quorum requirements
7 of, local public bodies, to ensure the continued operation of local government.
8 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this suspension shall become effective upon
9 adoption of this Resolution and shall extend through the sixtieth day after final adjournment
10 of the 2021 Regular Session of the Legislature of Louisiana.
