SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 72

A RESOLUTION
To commend and congratulate Performance Contracting, Inc. for donating services to the
East Baton Rouge Parish-Wide Graduation Ceremony "Celebrating the Class of
2020".
WHEREAS, normally, the spring semester for high school seniors culminates in a
graduation ceremony; however, this year traditional graduation ceremonies were cancelled
due to the closure of school in mid-March because of the coronavirus pandemic; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of East Baton Rouge Parish's high school seniors, on
May 19, 2020, student leaders were honored in an event jointly sponsored by the Louisiana
Leadership Institute, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, and the office of the East
Baton Rouge Mayor-President, with Coach Ed Orgeron of the 2020 National Champion LSU
Tigers as guest speaker; and
WHEREAS, the East Baton Rouge Parish-Wide Graduation Ceremony "Celebrating
the Class of 2020" was held at the Louisiana Leadership Institute Stadium Parking Lot; and
WHEREAS, Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) donated invaluable assistance in
preparing for the ceremony in the parking lot; and
WHEREAS, PCI, an employee-owned company, is a leading specialty contractor
offering quality services and products to the industrial, commercial, and nonresidential
markets and is committed to providing the latest processes, practices, and methods to
increase efficiency, cost savings, and overall quality; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to commend and congratulate PCI for its assistance
with the East Baton Rouge Parish-Wide Graduation Ceremony.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend and congratulate Performance Contracting, Inc. for donating its
services to the East Baton Rouge Parish-Wide Graduation Ceremony, "Celebrating the Class
of 2020".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Performance Contracting, Inc.
