HOUSE BILL NO. 103
BY REPRESENTATIVES MCCORMICK, AMEDEE, AND HODGES
1	AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 9:2800.28, relative to civil liability; to provide for refusal to mandate COVID-
3 19 vaccination; to provide relative to business and professional licenses; and to
4 provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 9:2800.28 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง2800.28.  COVID-19 vaccination mandates; limitation of liability; protection of
8	business permits and professional licenses
9	A.  No natural or juridical person shall be liable for any civil damages, and
10 no cause of action may be maintained against a natural or juridical person who, in
11 the course of, through the performance of, or by a provision of the person's business
12 operations, refuses to mandate a COVID-19 vaccination or immunization for any
13 employee or customer.
14	B.  The state, a state agency, or a political subdivision of the state shall not
15 refuse to permit, renew, or withhold a business license or professional license solely
16 on the basis that the business has refused to mandate a COVID-19 vaccination or
17 immunization for any employee or customer.
