1 AN ACT
2 To redesignate a portion of Louisiana Highway 77 in the Village of Grosse Tete, Louisiana,
3 as the "Veterans Memorial Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 77 located within the municipal
6 corporate limits of the Village of Grosse Tete, Louisiana, shall be known as and hereby
7 redesignated as "Veterans Memorial Highway".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11 actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
12 exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.
