1 AN ACT
2 To designate a portion of Interstate 220 in Shreveport and Caddo Parish, as "Minnion
3 Dewayne Jackson Memorial Overpass"; and to provide for related matters.
4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Interstate 220 at Exit 7A located in Shreveport and Caddo
6 Parish, shall be known and is hereby designated as the "Minnion Dewayne Jackson
7 Memorial Overpass".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11 actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
12 exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.
