ENROLLED 2021 Regular Session HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2 BY REPRESENTATIVE THOMPSON A RESOLUTION To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Bobby Wayne Charrier of Delhi. WHEREAS, it is with immense sadness and profound regret that the House of Representatives has learned of the death of Bobby Wayne Charrier of Delhi, Louisiana; and WHEREAS, Bobby was born to the union of Sam and Eva Charrier and remained a lifelong resident of Delhi; and WHEREAS, Mr. Charrier was an employee of Pepper Oil and an accomplished mechanic; he also worked for many years at B.E. Pickett Cattle Co., and made many lifelong friends during this time; and WHEREAS, Mr. Charrier cherished traveling with his family, especially to Colorado; he was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for working and hunting; he loved eating out with family and friends and going to the camp with his buddy, Francis; and WHEREAS, Mr. Charrier was also a man of great faith and a member of Delhi First Baptist Church; his death leaves an empty place in a network of family and close friends; and WHEREAS, Mr. Charrier leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Brenda Lynn Charrier; his daughters, Amy Lynn Charrier and Beth Ann Powell, and her husband Trent; his grandchildren, Sara Katherine Stephan, Mason Scott Powell, and Taylee Jane Knight; his sister, Evanette Richards; and his many dear lifelong friends; he will be deeply missed. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express heartfelt condolences on the death of Bobby Page 1 of 2 HR NO. 2 ENROLLED Wayne Charrier of Delhi and does hereby extend sincere hopes and wishes that his family and friends find comfort in their memories during this difficult time.
