ENROLLED 2021 Regular Session HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 29 BY REPRESENTATIVE CARPENTER A RESOLUTION To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Elder Henry Grady Bingham, Jr. WHEREAS, it is with immense sadness and profound regret that the House of Representatives has learned of the death of Elder Henry Grady Bingham, Jr.; and WHEREAS, Henry Grady Bingham, Jr., was born on October 5, 1970, to Henry and Gloria Bingham; he was a member of the graduating class of 1988 at Baker High School, where he competed on the wrestling team and with the a capella choir; and WHEREAS, Henry also led the prayer group at Baker High School from 1986 until 1991; and WHEREAS, Elder Bingham was licensed to serve as a minister in the Church of God In Christ in 1990 by Elder Norman Scott, who was the pastor of Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ; and WHEREAS, Henry Bingham married Melanie Ann Pidgeon on June 27, 1992; they celebrated twenty-nine years of marriage and had three children, Jasmine Bingham, Michael Bingham, and Henry Joshua Bingham; they also had two grandchildren, Avery Traymane Harrell, Jr., and Austin Spencer Harrell; and WHEREAS, Henry was also a businessman and entrepreneur; he was the owner of both Dreamscape Landscaping and Our Hardware; he had worked in the hardware industry for over thirty-five years; and WHEREAS, Elder Henry Grady Bingham, Jr., will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Page 1 of 2 HR NO. 29 ENROLLED THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express heartfelt condolences on the death of Elder Henry Grady Bingham, Jr., and does hereby extend sincere hopes that his family, friends, and loved ones find comfort during this difficult time.
