HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 86

A RESOLUTION
To commend Isaiah McCrory of the Notre Dame High School powerlifting team on winning
the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) 2021 Division IV 198-
pound weight class state championship.
WHEREAS, Isaiah McCrory of Notre Dame High School took home the Division
IV 198-pound weight class state title at the LHSAA powerlifting state championships at Fant
Ewing Coliseum on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe; and
WHEREAS, Isaiah lifted a total of one thousand four hundred fifty pounds; in the
squat lift, he managed five hundred twenty pounds; in bench press, he lifted three hundred
thirty pounds; and in dead lift, he managed six hundred pounds; and
WHEREAS, Isaiah McCrory is most deserving of recognition for his incredible
accomplishments at the 2021 LHSAA powerlifting state championships.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Isaiah McCrory of the Notre Dame High
School powerlifting team on winning the Louisiana High School Athletic Association 2021
Division IV 198-pound weight class state championship and does hereby extend sincere
hopes that he enjoy similar success in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
principal of Notre Dame High School.
