HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 95

A RESOLUTION
To commend George and Yvonne Ibert on their twenty-six years of service to the city of
Hammond.
WHEREAS, George and Yvonne Ibert are the owners of George Ibert Jewelry in
Hammond; they have helped locals with jewelry and gift purchases since 1995; and
WHEREAS, George and Yvonne Ibert's store provides cheerful service in a distinct
atmosphere; in addition to selling fine jewelry and gifts, the Iberts offered jewelry repair,
restoration, and redesign services; and
WHEREAS, the Iberts have long been active community partners with the Hammond
Chamber of Commerce and Richard Murphy Hospice; they annually contribute to these
groups, and they will be greatly missed among the community of business owners in
Hammond and Tangipahoa Parish; and
WHEREAS, George and Yvonne Ibert are most deserving of recognition for more
than twenty-five years of service to the people of Hammond and Tangipahoa Parish.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend George and Yvonne Ibert on their twenty-six
years of service to the city of Hammond and does hereby extend sincere hopes that they both
enjoy continued success in their endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
George and Yvonne Ibert.
