1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 44:4(59) and (60), relative to the Public Records Law; to exempt certain
3 information related to unclaimed property; to provide for exceptions; and to provide
4 for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 44:4(59) and (60) are hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง4. Applicability
8 This Chapter shall not apply:

10 (59) To the specific monetary value and name of the company that
11 remitted assets held in the state treasury pursuant to the Uniform Unclaimed
12 Property Act of 1997, except as provided by R.S. 9:161.
13 (60) To the name, address, telephone number, email address, social
14 security number, driver's license number, or copy of a license or other form of
15 identification provided by a claimant of property held in the state treasury
16 pursuant to the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act of 1997, except as provided
17 by R.S. 9:161. However, the provisions of this Paragraph shall not prevent a
18 judgment creditor or a person who can demonstrate entitlement to the property
