1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 45:201.5(A)(1), relative to automobile insurance policies; to
3 provide for mandatory disclosures of insurance coverage to transportation network
4 company drivers; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 45:201.5(A)(1) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 ยง201.5. Agreements; mandatory disclosures; prohibited provision; choice of law and
8 forum
9 A. The transportation network company shall disclose the following in
10 writing to each transportation network company driver before he is initially allowed
11 to accept a request for a prearranged ride on the transportation network company's
12 digital network:
13 (1) The insurance coverage, including the types of coverage and the limits for
14 each coverage provided and any liability coverages rejected, which the
15 transportation network company provides while the transportation network company
16 driver uses a personal vehicle in connection with a transportation network company's
17 digital network.
