SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 205

A RESOLUTION
To commend Landry Rivers on being selected as the 2021 Bossier Parish Elementary
Student of the Year.
WHEREAS, Landry Rivers is a fifth grader at Princeton Elementary School in
Bossier Parish; and
WHEREAS, at Princeton Elementary, she serves as president of the 4-H club; a
Fellowship of Christian Athletes leader; a Pride of Princeton school ambassador; and, a
member of the archery and robotics teams; and
WHEREAS, Landry also participates in her district's Activating Inquisitive Minds
program for elementary gifted and talented students, and serves her community through her
church and other organizations; and
WHEREAS, Landry Rivers has demonstrated a commitment to excellence that is
commendable in a person of her youth and she is most deserving of the title she has earned
as 2021 Bossier Parish Elementary Student of the Year.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Landry Rivers on being selected as the 2021 Bossier Parish
Elementary Student of the Year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Landry Rivers.
