1 AN ACT
2 To designate a portion of Interstate 49 in Shreveport, Louisiana, as "The Cooper Road
3 Pioneers Memorial Interchange".
4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Interstate 49 that passes over Louisiana Highway 3194 in
6 Shreveport, Louisiana, shall be known and hereby designated as "The Cooper Road Pioneers
7 Memorial Interchange".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11 actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to
12 exceed the sum of one thousand six hundred eighty dollars per sign.
