SENATE BILL NO. 101

1	AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 13:1900(D), relative to city and municipal courts; to provide
3 relative to a traffic violations bureau; to provide with respect to a traffic violations
4 bureau in city courts in Ouachita Parish; to provide for an effective date; and to
5 provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1.  R.S. 13:1900(D) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
8 ยง1900.  Traffic violations bureau

10	D.  The provisions of this Section shall not apply to any city court in the
11 parishes of Acadia, Allen, Ascension, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Caddo, Calcasieu,
12 Concordia, East Baton Rouge, Evangeline, Franklin, Iberia, Iberville, Jefferson,
13 Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Lafourche, Lincoln, Livingston, Morehouse,
14 Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, St. Tammany,
15 Tangipahoa, Vermilion, Vernon, Washington, Webster, West Baton Rouge, Winn,
16 Pointe Coupee, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, East Carroll, Madison, St. James, Red
17 River, and Grant.

19 Section 2.  This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
20 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
21 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If

1 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
