AN ACT
To amend and reenact R.S. 3:3368(B), (D), (E), and (G), relative to structural pest control
operator's licenses; to provide relative to examinations; to provide relative to license
applications; to provide for effectiveness; and to provide for related matters.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
Section 1.  R.S. 3:3368(B), (D), (E), and (G) are hereby amended and reenacted to
read as follows:
ยง3368.  Structural pest control operator's license

B.  A structural pest control operator's license shall be issued only after the
applicant has satisfactorily passed a written an examination. The examination shall
include the general standards examination required by the EPA and a separate
examination for the category in which the applicant desires to be licensed.

D.  Each applicant for examination shall submit a written an application
which shall contain such information as the commission by rule may require and
which shall be accompanied by the examination fee and by proof of experience and
education acceptable to the commission.
E.  The examination shall be administered at the domicile of any location
approved by the commission within forty-five days after the application for
examination is received by the commission.

G.  Persons Any person who successfully complete completes the
examination may apply for a structural pest control operator's license. The

application shall be in writing, shall contain such information as the commission by
rule may require, and shall be accompanied by the license fee.

Section 2.  This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If
vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
effective on the day following such approval.
