(8/1/22) 1 AN ACT 2 To enact R.S. 40:31.2, relative to acceptance of a COVID-19 antibody test result in 3 satisfaction of any requirement for proof of vaccine; to provide for the COVID-19 4 antibody test to be approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration; 5 and to provide for related matters. 6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. R.S. 40:31.2 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 8 ยง31.2. COVID-19 antibody test; required substitution 9 Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, proof that an 10 individual has tested positive for the COVID-19 antibody, through a test 11 approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, shall be accepted 12 as satisfaction of any state entity, local or municipal body, or city or parish 13 school board requirement for proof of a COVID-19 vaccine for entry, 14 employment, attendance, admittance, or as otherwise adopted or implemented 15 in a manner that restricts access or opportunity.
