INSURANCE CLAIMS. Provides relative to public adjuster fees. (8/1/22)
1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 22:1703(D), relative to insurers paying public adjuster fees; to require insurers
3 to pay public adjuster fees under certain terms and conditions; and to provide for
4 related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 22:1703(D) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง1703. Public adjuster fees

9 D. An insurer shall pay all public adjuster fees when a policyholder is not
10 satisfied with the insurer's claim adjuster or claim adjusters.
