2022 Regular Session ENROLLED SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 128 BY SENATOR FIELDS A RESOLUTION To congratulate Christian Chew on graduating from Liberty High School of Baton Rouge and to commend him on his many accomplishments. WHEREAS, graduating from high school is an important milestone in a student's life that signifies success in academics and achievement of one's goals; and WHEREAS, graduating from high school is one of the most important indicators of future success in life, including employment prospects, income potential, and overall health; and WHEREAS, Christian Chew is set to graduate from Liberty High School of Baton Rouge on May 17, 2022, and it is appropriate to commend him for all of his accomplishments throughout his high school career; and WHEREAS, Christian has worked diligently in school to prepare himself for his future endeavors; and WHEREAS, Christian's most recent accomplishments were receiving the Plaque of Completion in his engineering course and becoming a certified inventor; and WHEREAS, Christian also served as the Sergeant at Arms at the Louisiana Leadership Institute where he has contributed to their mission of building leadership, improving academic skills, and increasing self-esteem and motivation in students of the Greater Baton Rouge Metro area; and WHEREAS, Christian will attend Southern University Agricultural and Mechanical College and plans to major in mechanical engineering and minor in finance; and WHEREAS, Christian Chew exemplifies the very best of students in the Class of 2022 and his future holds incredible promise; and WHEREAS, through his academic achievements and his involvement with the Louisiana Leadership Institute, Christian has formed a solid foundation which will serve him well in his future endeavors.
