SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 225
BY SENATORS JACKSON, BERNARD, BOUDREAUX, BOUIE, CARTER, CATHEY,
CLOUD, CONNICK, CORTEZ, HEWITT, LAMBERT, LUNEAU,
MILLIGAN, FRED MILLS, ROBERT MILLS, MIZELL, MORRIS,
PEACOCK, REESE, SMITH, STINE, TALBOT AND WOMACK 
A RESOLUTION
To commend Ms. Pat Rusk, RN on twenty-two years of dedicated service to the Capitol
First Aid Station.
WHEREAS, on May 23, 2022, Ms. Rusk completed her last shift at the First Aid
Station during the 2022 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Rusk received her registered nursing license in December of 1957;
and
WHEREAS, Ms. Rusk has been a registered nurse for over sixty-five years and
worked continuously before retiring in 1998 from the Baton Rouge General Medical Center;
and
WHEREAS, Ms. Rusk began working in the Capitol First Aid Station in 2000; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Rusk has provided quality nursing care to visitors to the State
Capitol for the past twenty-two years.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Ms. Pat Rusk for her years of dedicated nursing service in the Capitol
First Aid Station and does hereby further extend the sincerest best wishes to Ms. Rusk in her
retirement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Ms. Pat Rusk.
