Abstract: Prohibits any activity related to carbon dioxide sequestration in St. Helena Parish.
Present law gives the commissioner of conservation jurisdiction and authority over the geologic
storage and sequestration of carbon dioxide.
Proposed law prohibits the commissioner from allowing any activity in St. Helena Parish related
to carbon sequestration.
