1 AN ACT
2 To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 657 in Larose, Louisiana, as the "Clarence
3 Marts, Jr., Memorial Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 657 between its intersection with
6 Louisiana Highway 1 and Louisiana Highway 3235 in Larose, Louisiana, shall be known and
7 is hereby designated as the "Clarence Marts, Jr., Memorial Highway".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractor are
9 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation
10 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
11 actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installations of each sign, not to
12 exceed the sum of five hundred fifty dollars per sign.
