COMMENDATIONS: Commends For His Temple Family Foods for its farm-to-table
efforts in preparing and serving locally sourced foods and for promoting a family-
style approach to healthy eating in northeast Louisiana

2To commend For His Temple Family Foods for its farm-to-table efforts in preparing and
3 serving locally sourced foods and for promoting a family-style approach to healthy
4 eating in northeast Louisiana.
5 WHEREAS, For His Temple Family Foods is a wholesome restaurant in West
6Monroe, Louisiana, that takes its inspiration from 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 of the Bible,
7honoring the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit and treating it as such by eating only the
8healthiest food possible; and
9 WHEREAS, For His Temple Family Foods promotes eating whole, real food that is
10devoid of chemicals and toxins, but also loaded with flavor and nutrition; the restaurant
11emphasizes the total removal of processed foods from our diets; and
12 WHEREAS, rather than the traditional restaurant approach, For His Temple Family
13Foods uses a rotating menu that is based on seasonal ingredients; the food is completely
14gluten-free; and
15 WHEREAS, For His Temple Family Foods is most deserving of the highest
16recognition for its mission to promote and provide the opportunity for healthy, sustainable
17eating habits in northeast Louisiana.
18 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
19Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend For His Temple Family Foods for its farm-
20to-table efforts in preparing and serving locally sourced foods and for promoting a family-

1style approach to healthy eating in northeast Louisiana and does hereby extend sincerest
2wishes that the restaurant continue to prosper in its mission to improve the dietary habits of
3its community.
