A RESOLUTION
To commend Louisiana State University Laboratory School on being named a 2022 National
Blue Ribbon School.
WHEREAS, the pursuit of educational excellence is vitally important to the success
of our nation, and educational institutions that consistently demonstrate extraordinary
commitment to academic achievement, innovation, and community engagement are most
deserving of recognition and celebration; and
WHEREAS, Louisiana State University Laboratory School (U-High), which sits on
the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, is a shining beacon of educational
excellence and has been selected as a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School in recognition of
the school's exemplary accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, U-High demonstrates its dedication to fostering an enriching learning
environment through its exceptional commitment to academic excellence; the school's
distinction as a National Blue Ribbon School is a testament to the faculty's tireless efforts,
inspiring leadership, and unwavering focus on the holistic development of their students; and
WHEREAS, U-High's commitment to cultivating a supportive and nurturing
education ecosystem allows students to thrive and empowers them to grow and excel in their
academic pursuits; the school has achieved this honor through its innovative teaching
methodologies, state-of-the-art facilities, and passionate faculty and staff; and
WHEREAS, the administrators, teachers, staff members, and students of Louisiana
State University Laboratory School are most deserving of the highest recognition for their
relentless pursuit of knowledge and commitment to educational excellence; their collective
efforts have resulted in the creation of a learning environment that fosters creativity and
critical thinking and cultivates well-rounded individuals who are poised to make positive
contributions to society.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Louisiana State University Laboratory
School on being named a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School; does hereby further recognize
the school's impact on the lives of countless students, their families, and the community at
large; and does hereby extend sincerest wishes that the school continue to prosper, especially
in its mission to provide an outstanding educational experience to its students.
