HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 221

A RESOLUTION
To commend Deacon Lonnie Ray Caldwell for his commitment to selfless service to his
community, church, and family.
WHEREAS, Deacon Lonnie Ray Caldwell is a member of Liberty Chapel Church
of God in Campti, Louisiana, and an assistant pastor to Pastor Elder Paul Wright; and
WHEREAS, Deacon Caldwell has faithfully tended to the needs of his community
throughout his stay in the service of Pastor Wright and the Liberty Chapel congregation; he
is genuinely passionate about serving the Natchitoches Parish community, especially those
who are senior citizens, and his dependability and honesty are invaluable assets to both the
church and the community-at-large; and
WHEREAS, Deacon Caldwell is also a military veteran who served as a member of
the United States Army, the United States Marine Corps, and the United States Army
Military Police Corps; and
WHEREAS, Deacon Caldwell is most deserving of the highest recognition for his
unfaltering dedication to his faith and the service of his family and community.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Deacon Lonnie Ray Caldwell for his
commitment to selfless service to his community, church, and family; does hereby further
recognize him for defending this great country as a member of the U.S. Army, Marine
Corps, and Military Police Corps; and does hereby extend sincerest wishes that he continue
to prosper in all of his endeavors, for his life is a beautiful reflection of genuine service and
personal sacrifice, which are values held most dearly in the great state of Louisiana.
