ENROLLED 2023 Regular Session HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 51 BY REPRESENTATIVE BAGLEY A RESOLUTION To commend the Home Care Association of Louisiana for its outstanding achievements and to recognize May 2, 2023, as Home Care Day at the state capitol. WHEREAS, the mission of the Home Care Association of Louisiana, the principal membership organization representing and promoting the home health care profession, is to be the primary resource, advocate, and proponent for health care in the home; and WHEREAS, the Home Care Association of Louisiana remains the voice for home health providers and their clients as the association continues to strengthen; and WHEREAS, the demand for home health care will continue to increase as the baby boomer generation becomes Medicare eligible; and WHEREAS, Home Care Association of Louisiana providers aspire to wisely apply the principals of altruism, excellence, caring, ethics, respect, communication, and accountability as they work with other professionals to achieve greater influence with respect to health care delivery; and WHEREAS, the women and men of the Home Care Association of Louisiana have made a significant and positive difference in communities throughout the state, and the members of the association merit a special measure of commendation for their achievement in this regard. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the members of the Home Care Association of Louisiana for their outstanding achievements, their unwavering commitment to excellence in serving the state's citizens, and the honor they bring to Louisiana. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby designate May 2, 2023, as Home Care Day at the state capitol.
