HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 56

A RESOLUTION
To commend Kaydence Bradford on her selection as a 2023 Louisiana Public Broadcasting
Young Hero.
WHEREAS, for twenty-eight years, Louisiana Public Broadcasting's (LPB) Young
Heroes program has recognized state high school students who have excelled in academics,
given significantly of themselves through public service, overcome adversity, exhibited
extraordinary heroism, or displayed exceptional strength of character; and
WHEREAS, Kaydence Bradford is a senior at Liberty Magnet High School in Baton
Rouge, Louisiana, and is one of the six 2023 Louisiana Public Broadcasting 2023 Louisiana
Young Heroes; and
WHEREAS, Kaydence is a hardworking and persistent student who has dedicated
countless hours to planning, coordinating, and implementing initiatives to promote her
school and help her community; although she is highly involved at school and in her
community, that is all on top of her primary responsibility as a caregiver and role model for
her niece and two nephews; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bradford is a truly inspiring young woman who is most deserving
of the highest recognition for her astounding drive and accomplishments.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Kaydence Bradford on her selection as a
2023 Louisiana Public Broadcasting Young Hero and does hereby extend sincerest wishes
that she continue her truly inspiring work and always strive for greatness.
