2 AN ACT
3 To amend and reenact R.S. 22:1483(C)(9), relative to the State Construction Code and the
4 Louisiana Fortified Premium Discounts; to provide for the scope of certain terms;
5 and to provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 22:1483(C)(9) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
8 ยง1483. Premium discounts, credits, rate differentials, adjustments in deductibles,
9 and other adjustments for compliance with building codes and for
10 damage mitigation

14 (9) For the purposes of this Subsection, insurable property includes single-
15 family residential property, commercial property, modular homes, and manufactured
16 homes that may be retrofitted.

18 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
19 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
