SENATE CONCURRENT RESOL UTION NO. 40

A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
To elect Alan M. Boxberger as legislative fiscal officer.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy in the office of legislative fiscal officer; and
WHEREAS, R.S. 24:602 provides that the legislative fiscal officer shall be elected
by a favorable vote of a majority of the elected members of both houses of the legislature;
and
WHEREAS, after reviewing applicants for the office as further requested by
R.S. 24:602, the Senate Committee on Finance and the House Committee on Appropriations
recommend that Alan M. Boxberger be elected as legislative fiscal officer.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
elect Alan M. Boxberger as legislative fiscal officer.
