R.S. 40:31.12(3)(h) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 ยง31.12. Definitions 8 As used in this Part, the following definitions shall apply: 9 * * * 10 (3) "Immunization record" means a client's medical record related to the 11 client's receipt of immunizations. Present law requires the Louisiana Department of Health to maintain a record of all immunizations an individual receives. Proposed law provides a location for healthcare providers to designate a sickle cell disease diagnosis after obtaining the consent of the patient or, if the patient is a minor, the consent of the patient's parent or guardian.
