MEDICAID: Provides relative to the state medical assistance program
1 AN ACT
2To amend and reenact R.S. 46:460.52, relative to the state medical assistance program
3 commonly known as Medicaid; to provide relative to the administration of the
4 Medicaid managed care program; and to provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 46:460.52 is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 ยง460.52. Exemptions
8 The provisions of this Part shall not apply to any entity contracted with the
9 Louisiana Department of Health to provide fiscal intermediary services in processing
10 claims of the health care providers any healthcare provider.
