1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 32:900.2, relative to proof of a "Motor Vehicle Liability Policy"; to provide
3 for acceptance of valid motor vehicle liability policies issued in another state; and
4 to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 32:900.2 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง900.2. Proof of financial responsibility; policy issued in another state
8 Notwithstanding any other provision contained in this Title to the contrary,
9 if an owner of a vehicle registered in this state has a valid motor vehicle liability
10 policy issued in another state, his motor vehicle liability policy shall be deemed to
11 be valid proof of financial responsibility.
