HOUSE BILL NO. 537

1	AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 56:266(D)(1), relative to appropriations; to provide for
3 reallocation of money received from fur trapping licenses into the Louisiana Fur
4 Public Education and Marketing Fund; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1.  R.S. 56:266(D)(1) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 ยง266.  Louisiana Fur Public Education and Marketing Fund

9	D.  Appropriations
10	(1)  All revenues received by the state from license fees imposed on trappers
11 as required in R.S. 56:251(A)(1) shall be credited to the Bond Security and
12 Redemption Fund.  After a sufficient amount is allocated from that fund to pay all
13 obligations secured by the full faith and credit of the state which become due and
14 payable within any fiscal year, the state treasurer is authorized and directed to
15 transfer annually the amount of twenty dollars for each resident trapping license sold
16 and one hundred forty-five dollars for each nonresident trapping license sold, all
17 from revenues derived from the sale of said licenses these license fees, into a special
18 fund designated as the Louisiana Fur Public Education and Marketing Fund.
