1 AN ACT
2To amend and reenact R.S. 56:1685(C)(10), relative to the office of state parks; to provide
3 for the classification of holdings; to provide for renaming of certain special holdings;
4 and to provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 56:1685(C)(10) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 ยง1685. Classification of holdings

9 C. The following office of state parks holdings are hereby recognized and
10 designated state parks, and all official reference shall include "State Park" as part of
11 the official name. The office of state parks shall have authority to structure each
12 individual name; however, each name shall end with the term "State Park":

Abstract: Renames St. Bernard State Park located in the parish of St. Bernard as St. Bernard
State Park-Lynn B. Dean Campus.
Present law recognizes and designates certain office of state parks holdings as state parks,
and provides that all official reference to them shall include "State Park" as part of the
official name.
Proposed law retains present law except renames St. Bernard State Park located in the parish
of St. Bernard as St. Bernard State Park-Lynn B. Dean Campus.
