Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice 1 AN ACT 2To amend and reenact R.S. 15:1202(A)(introductory paragraph) and to enact R.S. 3 15:1202(A)(33), relative to the membership of the Louisiana Commission on Law 4 Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice; to add members to the 5 commission; and to provide for related matters. 6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. R.S. 15:1202(A)(introductory paragraph) is hereby amended and 8reenacted and R.S. 15:1202(A)(33) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 9 ยง1202. Composition of commission 10 A. Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice, and provides for 59 members of the commission. Proposed law increases the membership to 63 by adding four members, one member from Caddo Parish, one member from East Baton Rouge Parish, and two members from Orleans Parish, each of whom shall be a community leader with prior law enforcement experience or study within the law enforcement discipline from a university or law school or an academic expert with prior law enforcement experience or study within the law enforcement discipline from a university or law school.
