R.S. 15:1202(A)(introductory paragraph) is hereby amended and 8reenacted and R.S. 15:1202(A)(33) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 9 ยง1202. Composition of commission 10 A. Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice. Present law provides for the composition of the La. Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice, and provides for 59 members of the commission. Proposed law increases the membership to 63 by adding four members, one member from Caddo Parish, one member from East Baton Rouge Parish, one member from Orleans Parish, and one member from Jefferson Parish, each of whom shall be a community leader with prior law enforcement experience or study within the law enforcement discipline from a university or law school or an academic expert with prior law enforcement experience or study within the law enforcement discipline from a university or law school and appointed by the governor.
