A RESOLUTION
To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Victoria
"Vicki" Muhar Lore.
WHEREAS, it is with immense sadness and profound regret that the House of
Representatives of the Legislature of Louisiana has learned of the passing, on April 11,
2024, of Victoria "Vicki" Muhar Lore; and
WHEREAS, Victoria was born to Bernice and Victor Muhar; she was a native of
West Allis, Wisconsin, where she grew up with her siblings, Andrew Muhar and Lori Gabal;
and
WHEREAS, Victoria eventually moved to Gretna, Louisiana, where she resided for
forty-five years; she was the loving wife, of thirty-five years, to the late David Joseph Lore
and dedicated mother to Michael (Dana), Joseph (Candace), and Andrew Lore; she was a
doting grandmother to Hunter, Eliza, Madeline, and Micah Lore; and
WHEREAS, Vicki Lore was immensely proud of her career as a civil servant, and
she retired having served the state of Louisiana for more than three decades; and
WHEREAS, Victoria "Vicki" Muhar Lore possessed a genuinely loving soul, and the
legacy of her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who were afforded the
privilege to know and love her.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express heartfelt condolences on the death of Victoria
"Vicki" Muhar Lore and does hereby extend sincerest wishes that her family, friends, and
loved ones find comfort in their shared memories of her beautiful life.
