Present law provides an exception, for persons with a valid conceal and carry permit, to the
prohibition of possessing a concealed firearm in a restaurant that serves alcoholic beverages.
Proposed law provides an exception, for persons lawfully carrying a concealed firearm, to the
prohibition of possessing a concealed firearm in a restaurant that serves alcoholic beverages; and
otherwise retains present law.
Effective August 1, 2024.
