ACT 37 (SB 214) 2024 Regular Session Miguez
Existing law provides an exception to the prohibition of possessing a concealed firearm in
a restaurant that serves alcoholic beverages for persons with a valid conceal and carry
permit.
New law retains existing law and adds an exception for persons lawfully carrying a
concealed firearm pursuant to new law allowing permitless concealed carry for persons at
least 18 years of age and not prohibited by law from possessing a firearm.
Effective July 4, 2024.
