R.S. 30:1108(C) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7 ยง1108. Eminent domain; expropriation 8 * * * 9 C. The eminent domain authority authorized under this Chapter shall be 10 exercised pursuant to the procedures found in R.S. 19:2, and shall be in addition to 11 any other power of eminent domain authorized by law. Present law provides that eminent domain authority authorized under the La. Geologic Sequestration of Carbon Dioxide Act shall be exercised pursuant to the procedures found in R.S. 19:2 and shall be in addition to any other power of eminent domain authorized by law. Proposed law provides that expropriation hearings shall be heard in the parish in which the property subject to the expropriation is situated and retains present law to other procedural requirements.
