2To commend Wake Up Kajun Kountry with TJ and host Tony "TJ" Maggio on being
3 awarded "Best Morning Show, Small Market" by the Louisiana Association of
4 Broadcasters.
5 WHEREAS, Wake Up Kajun Kountry with TJ is a country music morning radio show
6that airs on WHMD/Hammond; and
7 WHEREAS, the show and its host, Tony "TJ" Maggio, were recognized by the
8Louisiana Association of Broadcasters as the "Best Morning Show, Small Market" in the
9Country category of the 2025 Prestige Awards; and
10 WHEREAS, the Wake Up Kajun Kountry with TJ crew and host TJ Maggio are most
11deserving of the highest recognition for consistently delivering quality entertainment to
12Louisiana's morning commuters.
13 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
14Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Wake Up Kajun Kountry with TJ and host
15Tony "TJ" Maggio on being awarded "Best Morning Show, Small Market" by the Louisiana
16Association of Broadcasters and does hereby extend sincerest wishes that the show and its
17staff continue to prosper in their efforts to deliver quality morning radio entertainment.
