2To commend Louisiana State University at Eunice Assistant Professor of General Business
3 and Department Chair of Business and Technology Nikki May on receiving the 2025
4 Louisiana State University Innovative Contributions to Online Learning Award.
5 WHEREAS, the Louisiana State University Innovative Contributions to Online
6Learning Award recognizes educators who have made meaningful contributions to online
7and continuing education through implementation of new strategies and practices; and
8 WHEREAS, online learning continues to dramatically increase, and it is important
9to adopt effective methodologies that engage students and facilitate success; and
10 WHEREAS, Nikki May has been part of the LSU at Eunice faculty since 2013; she
11has received recognition on campus for her outstanding teaching and advising skills, and
12other faculty members look to her for online curriculum assistance; and
13 WHEREAS, Nikki May is most deserving of recognition for receiving this honor.
14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
15Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Assistant Professor of General Business and
16Department Chair of Business and Technology Nikki May on receiving the 2025 Louisiana
17State University Innovative Contributions to Online Learning Award.
