COMMENDATIONS: Commends Louisiana State University at Eunice Assistant Professor
of Nursing Branesha Moore, recipient of the 2024 Elsevier Educator of the Year
Award from the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing Foundation
1 A RESOLUTION
2To commend Louisiana State University at Eunice Assistant Professor of Nursing Branesha
3 Moore on being named the recipient of the 2024 Elsevier Educator of the Year
4 Award by the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing Foundation.
5 WHEREAS, the Elsevier Educator of the Year Award is given to one national
6recipient annually who uses innovative teaching strategies, motivates students to perform
7at their highest level, works cooperatively with colleagues, and demonstrates meaningful
8participation in college, professional, and community activities; and
9 WHEREAS, Branesha Moore was selected from an organization of over 9,000
10members, and she is most deserving of the highest recognition for this honor.
11 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
12Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Assistant Professor of Nursing Branesha
13Moore on being named the recipient of the 2024 Elsevier Educator of the Year Award by the
14Organization for Associate Degree Nursing Foundation and does hereby extend sincerest
15wishes that she continue to prosper in all of her endeavors.
