(8/1/25) 1 AN ACT 2 To enact R.S. 41:1215.4, relative to leases of public lands; to provide relative to the Lamar- 3 Dixon Expo Center; to provide relative to the execution and approval of leases by the 4 governing authority of Ascension Parish; to provide relative to the use of the Lamar- 5 Dixon Expo Center; and to provide for related matters. 6 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published. 7 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 8 Section 1. R.S. 41:1215.4 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 9 ยง1215.4. Lamar-Dixon Expo Center; lease 10 Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the 11 governing authority of Ascension Parish is hereby authorized and empowered 12 to enter into a lease of all or any portion of the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center 13 located in Ascension Parish at 9039 St. Landry Road in Gonzales, Louisiana. 14 The lease shall provide for the uses of the property and the lease shall be subject 15 to approval by the governing authority of Ascension Parish.
