(8/1/25) 1 AN ACT 2 To enact R.S. 33:4712.26, relative to property and buildings; to provide relative to the 3 naming of public buildings by the city of Lafayette; to authorize the governing 4 authority of the city of Lafayette to name the Heymann Park Complex in honor of 5 a living person; and to provide for related matters. 6 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published. 7 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 8 Section 1. R.S. 33:4712.26 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 9 ยง4712.26. Naming of Heymann Park Complex 10 Notwithstanding R.S. 42:267 or any other law to the contrary, the 11 governing authority of the city of Lafayette may name the Heymann Park 12 Complex in honor of John "Cush" Leblanc.
