PUBLIC BUILDINGS/GROUNDS. Authorizes the Hospital Service District No. 2 of St.
Martin Parish to name a medical building in honor of a living person. (8/1/25)
1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 33:4712.26, relative to St. Martin Parish Hospital District No. 2; to authorize
3 the governing authority of the district to name a medical office building in honor of
4 a living person; and to provide for related matters.
5 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 33:4712.26 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
8 ยง4712.26. Naming of medical office building; St. Martin Parish Hospital
9 District No. 2
10 Notwithstanding R.S. 42:267 or any other law to the contrary, Hospital
11 District No. 2 of St. Martin Parish may name the medical office building having
12 the municipal address of 220 Champagne Boulevard in honor of Burton D.
13 Dupuis, a living person who has served St. Martin Parish for more than fifty
14 years.
