(gov sig) 1 AN ACT 2 To authorize and provide for the transfer of certain state property; to authorize the transfer 3 of certain state property in Caddo Parish; to provide for the property description; to 4 provide for reservation of mineral rights; to provide terms and conditions; to provide 5 for an effective date; and to provide for related matters. 6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. The commissioner of administration, notwithstanding any other provision 8 of law to the contrary, is hereby authorized and empowered to convey, transfer, assign, lease, 9 or deliver any interest, excluding mineral rights, the state may have to all or any portion of 10 the following described parcel of property to Jeremy Lance Evans and Karen A. Evans: 11 A certain tract of land lying in front of Section 28, T20N-R16W, Caddo 12 Parish, Louisiana, belonging to the State of Louisiana, lying below the 13 173.09 foot contour, containing approximately 0.696 acres, more or less, and 14 being a parcel of dried lake bed situated between the land owned by Jeremy 15 Evans and the waters of Caddo Lake 16 Section 2. SB NO. 31 SLS 25RS-173 ORIGINAL 1 necessary to properly effectuate any conveyance, transfer, assignment, lease, or delivery of 2 title, excluding mineral rights, to the property described in Section 1 of this Act, and as more 3 specifically described in any such agreements entered into and documents executed by and 4 between the commissioner of administration and Jeremy Lance Evans and Karen A. Evans, 5 in exchange of consideration proportionate to the appraised value of the property. 6 Section 3. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not 7 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature 8 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If 9 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become 10 effective on the day following such approval.
