Extends the effectiveness of provisions relating to limiting the check cashing exemption for national banks and other regulated entities to August 1, 2027.
Requires the department of civil service to allow municipalities to post municipal employment positions on the department of civil service's state jobs website; requires such municipal employment opportunities to be posted in a format searchable by municipality and employment position type.
Amends the definition of "health care personnel" to define the term "temporary services" as health care services contracted for an initial term of less than twenty-four continuous months; requires a temporary health care services agency to annually submit to the department of health copies of all contracts between the agency and a health care entity to which it assigns or refers health care personnel.
Authorizes municipalities and districts to enter into cooperative agreements for the provision of centralized public employee administrative and personnel services; provides for health insurance coverage of municipal employees pursuant to standardized health insurance contracts; authorizes the provision of reduced premiums for municipal health insurance plans which offer wellness programs.
