Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary, motor vehicle 2insurance companies shall have the option of offering insurance discounts to licensed operators 3of motor vehicles who complete a marijuana impairment education course. The course may be 4offered by accredited driving schools and insurance companies, pending approval from the 5commissioner of insurance, and the course curriculum must include a module on the dangers of 6driving under the influence of marijuana.
