| 29 | 29 | | 1 Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 94G of the General Law as appearing in the 2020 Official |

| 30 | 30 | | 2Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words: “Any cost to a city or town imposed by the |

| 31 | 31 | | 3operation of a marijuana establishment or medical marijuana treatment center shall be |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4documented and considered a public record as defined by clause Twenty-sixth of section 7 of |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5chapter 4” in lines 78-82 and replaced with the following words, “If the community can not |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6document with certainty the costs to the town associated with the operation of a marijuana |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7establishment or medical marijuana treatment center, the community impact fee shall be a |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8Standard Allowance of 1 percent of the gross sales of the marijuana establishment or medical |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 9marijuana treatment center and shall not be effective for longer than 8 years.” |
